Hirencer does not verify jobs, projects, companies, freelancers, brands or influencers. Use these checks to protect yourself.
Before you apply for a job or project
- Search for the company name on the web: official website, address, reviews, news and social accounts. Check that the contact details match.
- Be wary of offers that are too good to be true, vague about the work, or promise very high pay for little effort.
- Never pay money for a job, training, a “kit”, a background check, a visa, or a deposit. Real employers do not ask you to pay to be hired.
- Do not share OTPs, passwords, card or bank PINs, or photos of identity documents with someone you have not verified. Share the minimum personal data needed.
- Get the terms in writing: scope, pay, payment dates, deadlines, ownership of the work and what happens if either side cancels.
- Be careful with “test tasks” that look like free real work, and with anyone who insists on moving to a private chat app straight away.
For employers and clients
- Check a freelancer’s work samples, references and identity as is appropriate for the job. Hirencer badges and ratings are not guarantees.
- Use written agreements and pay through a traceable method. Be careful with overpayment or refund requests.
- Follow your local employment, contractor and tax laws.
For brands and influencers
- Check the other party’s profile, audience and previous work. We do not verify identity, followers or engagement.
- Agree deliverables, usage rights, dates and cancellation terms in writing. Use the milestone terms in the collaboration form.
- Pay only through the Payment Provider shown in the collaboration. Never send money to personal accounts on the promise of a “faster” deal.
- Follow advertising disclosure rules in the countries your audience is in.
- Confirm that using the feature and receiving or sending payments is allowed in your country.
If something looks wrong
- Stop communicating and do not send money or data.
- Keep screenshots and the listing link.
- Report it to support@hirencer.com.
- If you lost money, contact your bank or Payment Provider immediately. In India you can report cyber fraud at 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in; elsewhere, contact your local police or consumer authority.
