Your single Hirencer account has two ways of working. Company / Brand is for hiring, posting jobs and projects and running collaborations. Freelancer / Influencer is for finding work, bidding and accepting collaborations. Switching only changes your menus and shortcuts, and nothing is deleted.

Step-by-step

  1. Open your account menu

Open the menu with your avatar at the top right.

On mobile: Tap your small round avatar in the header.

On desktop: Click your avatar and name at the top right.

  2. Find Switch profile

Near the bottom, above Log out, you will see a two-button Switch profile control.

  3. Choose a profile

Tap Freelancer / Influencer or Company / Brand. You are taken to your dashboard for that profile.

  4. Use the matching tools

Menus, the mobile bottom bar, the dashboard sidebar and the home page now match the profile you picked.

Tips and good to know

  • The dashboard also has a Profile switch at the top.
  • Opening a hiring page such as Post a Job switches you to Company / Brand automatically. Opening Bids or Bookmarks switches you to Freelancer / Influencer.
  • On a job page, the Apply button needs the Freelancer / Influencer profile. In Company / Brand mode you will see a “Switch to apply” button instead.

Frequently asked questions

Do I lose anything when I switch?
No. Your jobs, projects, resume, company page, bids and collaborations all stay in your account.
Can I be a company and a freelancer at the same time?
Yes. Create both profiles and switch whenever you need.
