How to create a freelancer profile (resume)
In this article
Your freelancer profile (also called a resume on Hirencer) is your public page for people who want to hire you. It shows your name, role, location, skills, rate and about text. Your email and phone number are never shown. People contact you through on-site messages.
Before you start
- Switch to the Freelancer / Influencer profile in your account menu.
- A short description of what you do and a clear photo.
Step-by-step
-
Open Add Resume
Go to your dashboard and choose Add Resume, or open new.hirencer.com/create-profile.
On mobile: On the dashboard, swipe the pill row and tap Add Resume.
On desktop: Use Resumes → Add Resume in the left menu.
-
Add your basics
Enter your name, professional title (for example “Mobile App Developer”), location and upload a photo.
-
Describe your work
Write a short, clear about section. Say what you do, your experience, tools you use and the kind of projects you want.
-
Add skills and your rate
Choose or type your skills and set your hourly or project rate. Add links to your portfolio if there is a field for it.
-
Preview and submit
Check the preview, fix anything unclear and submit. Your profile appears in the Freelancers directory once published.
Tips and good to know
- Use specific skills like “WooCommerce” or “Instagram Reels” instead of broad words.
- Keep the rate realistic and update it as you grow.
- Do not put your email, phone number or ID numbers in the text. People can message you safely on Hirencer.
